Wednesday, April 23, Design Cares presents A Night of a Thousand Lights, at the Roseland Ballroom in NYC - a fundraiser to benefit St. Jude Childrens Hospital. Click the image above to see the invitation and the full listing of designers and events

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is the world's premier center for the research and treatment of catastrophic diseases in children, primarily pediatric cancers. It currently costs $1.2 million per day to run the hospital and research facilities where discoveries are made that save the lives of children. Consistent with the vision of our founder, Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or family's ability to pay.

New York City's premiere fashion event DESIGN CARES "A Night of a Thousand Lights," benefiting the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital was held on April 23, 2008 at the storied Roseland Ballroom and featured a stunning presentation by the award-winning design team of Marchesa. Our host for the evening was top celebrity stylist and actor, Philip Bloch. The evening featured a live runway show, restaurant and spirits tasting, silent auction, luxury raffle, music and dancing.

This was our second annual fashion event and it was an incredible success, raising more than $300,000. The festive evening was attended by over 650 well-heeled guests, including members of the media and celebrity St. Jude supporters.
