Fifth Annual Project Sunshine Gala

Project Sunshine hosted the Fifth Annual Project Sunshine Gala on Monday, May 12th, at the Waldorf Astoria. The theme of the evening was “Sunshine Vibe” honoring Rick Cummings, President, Radio Division of Emmis Communications
The star-studded night included celebrity entrances on the Project Sunshine “Yellow Carpet,” and live performances featuring DJ Funkmaster Flex and popular recording artist Ingrid Michaelson, whose songs have been featured on Grey’s Anatomy and in a recent Old Navy commercial.
About Project Sunshine
Project Sunshine is a nonprofit organization that provides free social, educational and recreational programs and services to children living with medical challenges and their families. Project Sunshine sends volunteers to visit hospitalized children to provide arts and crafts, tutoring, entertainment, and special events. With 3000 Annual events, chapters in 33 states and 75 cities across the United States, Canada, China, Israel, Kenya, and Puerto Rico, Project Sunshine’s 10,000 volunteers serve 100,000 children and families each year. Project Sunshine is dedicated to bringing a ray of hope for these children.
