The Brighter Futures Society "Le Grande Spectacle"

On Thursday May 1, 2008 the Brighter Futures Society held its fifth annual spring event at the Angel Orensanz Center for the Arts on the Lower East Side.

This year's fundraiser, "Le Grande Spectacle" was attended by over 300 people and raised over $57,000! Attendees enjoyed cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, a silent auction and a performance by the BAILA Society. The Brighter Futures Society is a group of young professionals committed to the mission of the YAI/National Institute for People with Disabilities Network to help people with developmental and learning disabilities achieve independent and fulfilling lives in their communities.
