Young Leaders Celebrate a “Night for the Fight” against Lupus

On Thursday, September 25 in the heart of New York’s Times Square, nearly 200 young leaders in the fight against lupus joined together to celebrate the 4th annual “Night for the Fight.”

Held at theater district hot-spot Touch, the event raised more than $25,000 for research and support services—making it the Foundation’s most successful junior event yet. Lupus advocates, friends, family members and coworkers partied to music from DJ Tyson, while enjoying cocktails, passed hors d’oeuvres and a tasting station from Artisanal Premium Cheese. The night’s highlight was a fishbowl raffle of nearly 40 luxury prizes and a live auction of Jets and NASCAR tickets. Each guest left the party a winner with a swag bag packed full of more than $150 in donated items.

Thanks to the S.L.E. Lupus Foundation’s Young Leadership Committee, guests, friends and generous sponsors who made this event another great success. Stay tuned for more events around the city in the coming months.
