Playground Partners and Patrons are dedicated to improving and maintaining Central Park’s 21 unique playgrounds. Part of the Women’s Committee, this group supports field teams who spend each day cleaning sand boxes, maintaining playground equipment, and ensuring our facilities are always ready for our youngest visitors to Central Park. Funds are also used to support renovations of existing Playgrounds, such as the recently completed renovation of Heckscher Playground and the current redesign and renovation of Ancient Playground.
